My Ethos - My Background

Making and DIY has always been part of my life, from an early age “helping” and being taught by my Dad how to do various woodworking skills, watching him as he redecorated various properties through the 1970’s and mended various musical instruments I followed in his shoes byway of airfix models, painting and technical drawing and DIY.

In the past, when asked what job it is that I do, I have often struggled to come up with a concise and appropriate answer. At various points in my life I been paid as a project manager, an architect, a workspace designer, and I could just as easily add carpenter, wedding photographer, interior designer, bathroom/kitchen fitter.

Most recently I had settled on Self-Builder…having spent the last few years fulfilling personal dream: remodelling my home in South east London to create a dream home….but that was before The “Designer Handyman”

I am now excited to be offering my new handyman service, a friendly, and professional offering to the residents of South East London. This a personalised service in which I offer the full range of home maintenance and improvements. It is for those with limited time, skills, know how, or desire to carry out themselves.
